If you're tired of yanking and pulling on that stubborn kitchen drawer, new parts may be the answer. CabinetParts.com has plenty of solutions for your kitchen drawer parts needs. A variety of different slides or glides are available to smooth out your sticky drawer woes.

Choosing the Right Kitchen Drawer Parts for the Job

Look at what's available in kitchen drawer slides:

  • Side mount. These are mounted on each side of your kitchen drawer. They're good for kitchen drawers because the parts stand up to heavy use. (There are heavy-duty slides that can support up to 500 lbs. but probably not what you need for your kitchen drawers.)
  • Undermount. These slides are concealed underneath the drawers to show off your high end drawer workmanship and can support medium loads like utensils and silverware.
  • Centermount. These slides work best for very light loads, and because they rest on one mount may not be appropriate for high traffic kitchen drawers.
  • Euro drawer slides. Inexpensive and easy to install, you can easily mount these slides to the drawer and the inside of the drawer box. But keep the drawer load light.

So what about cost? All slides are not created equal: choose slides based on how you plan to use the drawers and how long you want the slides to last. This is another instance of "you get what you pay for." Buy the best slides you can afford. You can take your search to the Internet, where you can compare features and prices to get the best deals.
